Mission

OneNJ7 provides coordination, resources, training, and tools to fuel a powerful and aligned district-wide movement to organize for change.  Our goal is to defeat Tom Kean, Jr. and the rightwing takeover of the American government and win an inclusive democracy and fight for bold progressive policies.

Method

​

The leadership team of OneNJ7 have been active members of the seasoned, grassroots groups in the district.  We respect the difficult work and productive action each group and member has accomplished in the last eight years.

We have spoken with leaders of grassroots organizations all across the district; they agree, leveraging the efforts of the network is critical to winning in 2024.

 

Through productive communication we will learn best practices in the movement, and what strengths each group has.  We will collaborate, choosing which actions to share across the district and supporting actions by other groups where mutual goals exist.  We know people are committed to better representation for NJ CD7 and together we will work to develop a district wide strategy to give the democratic candidate the best chance of winning the seat.

One NJ7 will sow the seeds so that, just as in 2018, a district gerrymandered for Republicans will have a progressive representative in 2024.  We will start from a stronger position than in 2018, with a grassroots network covering the entire district, ready to battle for the votes needed to accomplish our goal.
